AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — This year, Tito’s Handmade Vodka is inviting Americans to embrace the art of doing absolutely nothing with the return of the Tito’s Turkey Rot, the only Thanksgiving “race” where the starting line and finish line is your couch. Between traveling, cooking, hosting and everything else that comes with Thanksgiving, the holiday can feel like a marathon. So why add an actual 5K to the mix?
Following its debut in 2025, the Tito’s Turkey Rot puts a laid-back twist on the traditional Turkey Trot, inviting adults 21+ nationwide to skip the miles and embrace a little well-deserved couch time with a Tito’s cocktail in hand. And the best part? Doing less can do a whole lot of good. Tito’s is kicking things off with a $500,000 donation to Meals on Wheels America and will donate an additional $10 for every Turkey Rot sign-up, up to $1 million in total through November, helping fight senior hunger and isolation during the holiday season.
Doing Nothing Is Better Together
Starting November 2-30, fans can officially commit to the Rot by visiting titosvodka.com/turkeyrot and clicking “Click Here to Rot” or commenting on a qualifying Turkey Rot social post.
And because doing nothing is better together, Tito’s is introducing Turkey Rot Teams. After joining, participants can create or join a team for a chance to win a Tito’s-sponsored Thanksgiving celebration. Each eligible team member earns their team one sweepstakes entry, up to 50 entries per team.
Winning teams will be selected at random, with eligible members receiving $100 gift cards to help take Thanksgiving drinks off their to-do lists. The more Rotters on your team, the more chances to win.
High-Performance Inactivewear + Cocktails
Every race deserves a medal, even one that requires absolutely no athletic ability. New this year, Tito’s is introducing the Turkey Rot Finisher Flask, a playful spin on the traditional race-day medal that celebrates the ultimate achievement: doing nothing. The Finisher Flask joins a lineup of Turkey Rot essentials, including a sweatsuit, blanket, socks, Brooklinen robe, and more. Each robe and sweatsuit also comes with a complimentary Tito’s 0.0 sticker and official Turkey Rot bib.
Best of all, 100% of net proceeds from Turkey Rot merchandise will benefit Meals on Wheels America, giving fans another way to make a difference while perfecting their lounging uniform.
And no Tito’s Turkey Rot would be complete without a lineup of cocktails made for kicking back. From the Tito’s Bloody Mary-thon to the Tito’s Turkey Rot Toddy, these holiday-ready sips bring a little extra spirit to doing absolutely nothing. Doing Less Has Never Meant More
“If you’ve married into a turkey trot family, you know nothing tests a relationship quite like finding out your in-laws think a 5K is an appetizer,” said Taylor Berry, SVP of Marketing at Tito’s Handmade Vodka. “We think the holidays already ask enough of us, so we’re bringing back the Tito’s Turkey Rot. No alarms, no running shoes, no cardio. Just commit to the Rot, grab your favorite people and a Tito’s cocktail, and do some good by doing absolutely nothing. Finally, a Thanksgiving tradition where staying on the couch counts as participation.”
Through its continued support of Meals on Wheels America, Tito’s is helping provide nourishment and connection for older adults nationwide, proving that even the most laid-back Thanksgiving tradition can make a meaningful impact.
“The holidays remind us how much it means to share a meal and feel connected to the people around us. Yet too many older adults will spend this season facing hunger or loneliness,” said Kristine Templin, Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Meals on Wheels America. “The Tito’s Turkey Rot is a fun way to turn a holiday tradition into something that makes a real difference for older adults who rely on Meals on Wheels for nutritious meals and meaningful connection. We’re grateful to Tito’s for continuing to stand alongside Meals on Wheels and for inspiring people across the country to make a difference in the lives of our aging neighbors.”
