Stewart Foundation (KSF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building safe, affirming pathways to parenthood, wellness, and economic stability for families, will present Bodies In Bloom LA on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12 to 2 PM at The Living Room DTLA, 1041 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Admission is free with RSVP, and the afternoon is designed for the LA queer women’s community and the families they build.
Bodies In Bloom LA arrives at a moment when healthcare access and women’s autonomy are under real pressure. Rather than wait, KSF is answering the way it knows best: by bringing the community together. The event centers a moderated panel with a group of experts, an audience conversation, and time for guests to connect and be resourced. Every guest leaves informed, connected, and holding a gift bag from the Foundation’s partners.
Founded in 2023, The K. Stewart Foundation centers Black and Brown, LGBTQIA+, and women-led and femme-led families who have historically been excluded from traditional systems of care. The Foundation’s programming runs on its S.A.F.E. framework: Safety and Access to affirming care and clear information, Family Services for same-sex couples, parents, and families building on their own terms, and Education on health, rights, and autonomy.

A proven commitment to community
KSF’s work is anchored in a growing record of impact, including 500+ consultations, a community of 2,000+ members, and 82+ mission partners. In 2025 the Foundation launched its inaugural OUT + EXCELLENT Charity Gala honoring Bay Area LGBTQIA+ leaders, and it has partnered with the City of Oakland and the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center to co-host Oakland’s first LGBTQ+ Job Fair. Bodies In Bloom LA marks the Foundation’s expansion of that work into Los Angeles.
